Can I install a whole house surge protector myself safely?

You should not install a whole-house surge protector yourself. The work happens inside your main electrical panel and may require moving breakers and wiring, which is a job for a licensed electrician. Bell installs UL-listed protectors with up to 60,000 amps of suppression, completes most installs in a couple of hours, and verifies protection with post-install testing. We provide an in-home assessment and a written flat-rate quote, and we offer optional secondary protection for data/coax/solar.
